Is Family Health Centers (FHC) open to all persons?

Yes – FHC is open to all.

Does FHC take insurance?

Yes – FHC is a preferred provider with most insurance carriers.

Does FHC provide a sliding fee scale for those who qualify for one?

Yes – FHC does provide a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. A minimum payment is due at the time of check-in.  Any additional charges are collected at check-out.  If you require a payment arrangement, please contact Patient Accounts prior to your visit.  They are available Monday through Friday at 509-422-7670.

Is FHC a government run agency?

No – FHC is not a government run agency but is a private not for profit corporation.

Does FHC accept donations?

Yes – FHC is a private not-for-profit 501(c)3 and can accept donations.

Is FHC fully funded by the Federal government?

No – Only 16% of the FHC annual operating budget comes from federal funds.

Is FHC for Spanish speaking clients only?

No – FHC is open to all people regardless of preferred language.

Does FHC provide quality health care?

Yes – FHC is the only health care provider in Okanogan County with Joint Commission accreditation.
