Behavioral Health Specialist – Bridgeport

Full or part time position.   The Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for providing screening, brief interventions, referral to treatment (SBIRT,) and providing support resources for FHC’s patients. Functions as a core member of an integrated care team including the patient’s primary care provider and other providers involved in the patient’s care.  Experience providing care to  patients who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse required.  Familiarity with screening and assessment, differential diagnoses, evidence-based brief interventions, and psychopharmacology for common mental/substance use disorders.  Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of behavioral and mental health typically acquired through a formal Master’s level degree program in counseling or social work.  MSW, MFT or MHC degree required, according to all regulations in Washington State Chapter 18.225 RCW and 246-809 WAC.  Open until filled.  EOE  Job Description

The Physician’s primary job function is to be responsible for provisions of comprehensive primary care services including Obstetrical and inpatient care for hospitalized patients of Family Health Centers. Works independently and interdependently with other clinic Providers. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy. Must be Board Eligible/Certified. Must possess current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Must have current, valid unrestricted DEA registration. Must be able to be continuously insurable by Family Health Centers professional malpractice carriers at reasonable rates.
