Erin Cooley, MD

Physician w/ OB

Dr. Cooley completed her undergraduate degree at Whitworth University and medical degree from University of Washington.  She completed her residency at Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine.  Her interests are in LGBT/ gender affirming care, OB, women’s health, preventative medicine and community organizing.  “I’m looking forward to living in a place where I can play in the outdoors in my free time and have an impact on my community in my job.  I am grateful to be a part of an organization that is finding innovative ways to keep our community healthy.”

Victoria ‘Tory’ DeSalvo, ARNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Victoria ‘Tory’ earned her RN degree thru the Omak Wenatchee Valley College nursing program. She went on to earn her MSN Family Nurse Practitioner at Gonzaga after earning her Bachelor’s Degree from Athabasca University. A longtime resident of Okanogan County, her hobbies are running & skiing and spending time with her family. “I believe access to healthcare is one of the most important basic needs we have. I love this county with its strong sense of community and beautiful wilderness.”

Diana Forrest, PharmD

Pharmacist

Dr. Diana Forrest graduated from Washington State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy in May of 2020. During her time at pharmacy school in Spokane, she and her husband fell in love with Eastern Washington. Diana is excited to join the Brewster team and continue on the path to her career goal of increasing access to pharmacy services in areas that struggle with providing fair access to healthcare in Central Washington. In her free time, she enjoys bird watching, gardening, knitting, cooking and baking and spoiling her pet cats.

Roy Huffstetler, PA-C

Physician Assistant – Certified

Roy obtained his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, he has a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Georgia. He speaks English and Spanish, enjoys all aspects of family medicine, especially his relationship with patients, pediatrics and office procedures. “I feel really lucky to be able to live here. We have a great team at our Brewster-Jay Avenue clinic and it’s an honor to serve our patients!”

Roy moved to Okanogan in 2011 along with his wife, Amanda Segars-Huffstetler, and their three young sons. Together they have a good time eating at taco trucks, camping, hiking, biking, swimming and floating the local rivers. In the winter, they love skiing at Loup Loup and he volunteers on ski patrol.

Ariana Milman, LMHCA

Behavioral Health Specialist

Ariana obtained her BA in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford University. She completed a MA in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. Ariana’s training emphasis on counseling, mind body medicine, and primary care shapes her whole-person approach to health. Her special interests are integrated mental health and partnering with individuals and groups to help them live more vibrant and meaningful lives. In her spare time, Ariana enjoys reading, spending time with her wife, being in nature, and volunteering with movements for social justice.  “I appreciate that Family Health Centers collaborates with other organizations in the community to address determinants of health and improve the health of the community.”

James Wallace,  MD, MPH,  FAAFP, Chief Health Officer

Physician w/ OB

Dr. Wallace is a family physician with a love serving entire families and helping patients through the many joys and challenges of life. He has additional training in obstetrics and public health and sees patients at our Health Centers in Brewster and in Twisp. He attends deliveries and provides inpatient care at Mid Valley Hospital in Omak. Dr. Wallace is also the Chief Health Officer of Family Health Centers and enjoys working with Family Health Centers’ staff across Okanogan County to expand access to high quality health care for everyone.

Dr. Wallace received his Masters in Public Health through the department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of North Carolina and attended medical school at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at UNC Hospitals, where he served as Chief Resident and focused on improving quality of care for rural, immigrant and refugee communities. After residency he worked for a short time in Western Washington and then volunteered for Alam Sehat Lestari in the rainforests of Indonesian Borneo. He returned to Washington in 2011, completed a year-long Fellowship in Advanced Obstetrics at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, and began work with Family Health Centers in 2012.

 “It is a privilege to live and work in north central Washington, to care for diverse and resilient patients who work hard to improve their lives and support their families, and to make our healthcare system better for them. I am fortunate to have the best coworkers on the planet. Our clinic teams go out of their way to ensure patients receive compassionate, high quality and personalized care. When not working I enjoy running, biking, paddling and skiing all over Okanogan County with my family, and considering how we can contribute to a community that reflects our scenery.”
